They tried to get me to reveal my Social Security # to process a claim. My insuance company said the SS# is NOT necessary. They refused to file it without it. I went thru years of hell because of indenity theft. I really wonder why they insisted on the SS#? Were they going to use it later??? Good luck if you give them personal info.
