Buyer Beware! This company charges on what they call a "flat rate" plan. My system needed $567 in parts which took the technician approximately 20 minutes to change out and this company charged me $1855. So basically, they figure out the profit they want to make and work backwards in order to invoice the customer. This "flat rate" system makes sense from a business view; however, apparently this company needs to have a 50% rate of return. I want to say that all 4 of the men that worked diligently installing my central air did an EXCELLENT job. The guys never stopped working from the time they arrived until the work was completed. During the time here, they kept up with keeping my home in immaculate condition. They wore carpet protectors on their shoes whenever they went in and out of the house and covered the carpeting with a plastic wrap. I have also had problems with this company.Heater was not working right so I called to have them check it. Was told it would need parts or could replace the unit.Serviced my heater back in Nov of 2015 and never told me the heater was recalled in 2014. Heater is only about 7-8 years old. Add to the insult I found out on my own you can no longer get parts for the Quietside. So how were they going to replace parts? Will never do business with them again. So much for customer service!

I had a horrible experience with Quality Degree Inc. HVAC (QDI). Total bill for them to do a yearly maintenance service/cleaning (that I paid $290 for) on my oil furnace and replace 2 parts with a retail value of $73.00 was $860. The labor worked out to $790, $395/hour. I then found out the technician, Jason, was misleading about having to replace the electronic oil ignitor they charged $308 for.
