Friendly guy. Value seemed right for Springfield. Glad to get out of this city.
I had the same experience as a previous review. We had two appraisals done. The first by another company. Donald Pinkerman valued the same house with a $11,000 decrease which didn’t even included the value of a double lot. Please save yourself the headache. He is obviously unfamiliar with the current market in Springfield.
Very professional. Timely, friendly, and knowledgeable. Don arrived early and got everything done even before I needed to leave for work.
5/5! I highly recommend Quality Apprasial Company. It says it right in the name. Don lives up to the company name and then some. My spouse and I are both away from home for most of the day, but Don worked with us and came right during my lunch hour to do the appraisal. He was already there waiting when I arrived, was very friendly, and able to answer all of my many questions. I learned that he has been an appraiser since the early 90’s always in western mass. I would strongly advise against using Donald Pinkerman as your appraiser. Not only did he under value our home by $7500.00 below the agreed upon sale price, after doing so, he neglected to make any efforts to reach out to our realtor and compare fair comps or information on updates and upgrades within our home. He made an uninformed decision and submitted his appraisal. Very unprofessional and short sighted in our opinion.
