I have been a customer of HealthShield Pharmacy (Quaker Hill) since 1989. At that time my Rx's were covered under my husband's employer and consequently I never paid attention to the dispensing fees or the Rx cost. Now I am a senior, the employer's coverage terminated and not all Rx's are covered under the Ontario Drug Benefit Plan. As quite a few drugs are in excess of $250 each I called 3 different pharmacies enquiring what their cost was for each Rx and their dispensing fee. Costco was the cheapest by far. It’s a worst pharmacy I choose a pharmacy close to me, but it was mistake. They were supposed to deliver medicine to me, but they most of the time not doing it. Most of the time, they even not calling that medicine is ready. They charged insurance but never called me or bring medicine. I will never go there again. I have asked a doctor to send prescription to another pharmacy
