I loved the camping experience at Quail Creek. The Camp Host is so attentive and makes a genuine effort to get to know campers and offer her assistance. The park is clean and quiet, the bathrooms are clean and the views are incredible. The only downside is that the park has no real private shower. They have rinse off showers, similar to what you would find at a beach but not suitable for taking care of your hygiene needs. Showers are available at Sand Hollow State Park and the KOA up the road, both require a small fee. I bel... read more
We love Quail! It’s so much fun. The water is clean and beautiful. Not too cold and not too warm. Just right mid summer. It’s close enough to home to go for a day visit but convenient enough for a long weekend. We love this place.
