I scheduled my appointment for 9 a.m. more than week in advance. Before I even arrived, the stylist claimed I hadn’t ‘confirmed’ at 6 a.m. that same morning—expecting clients to respond that early on the day of the appointment is unreasonable. If a confirmation was needed, it should have been requested the day before. When I got there, the store was closed and I ended up waiting over 40 minutes for her to arrive. I have been in Bridgeport for three years looking for a braiding salon for my protective styles. After all that time I was blessed to find Q&L. I came in for a crotchet style. Having suffered hair breakage and thinning from having my son I was nervous of being turned away. Thankfully my stylist was not only understanding, but comforting and gave me tips on how to get my hair back. The quality of the braiding hair for my foundation braids was top tier.
