I had an extremely poor experience with the diagnostic imaging department at Trenton Memorial Hospital during a breast ultrasound. I had developed sudden breast swelling, pain and redness over a matter of days and had already been treated for a suspected infection. By the time of my ultrasound, the redness and pain had significantly improved, but a large firm area remained. The Dr’s and nurses in emerge are all pleasant enough but not all. overall the service keeps getting worse. I was in pain for a month because I was misdiagnosed I went to my GP and they confirmed what I found. The unnecessary medication made me sick and didn’t heal my problem. I wasted money on these meds. I had to go back to get my IV reinserted into my arm. The act took a minute or two the wait was 5 hours. Because I was misdiagnosed I had to keep going back to get more meds. I was in and out within 3 hours. But that’s not why I am giving 5 stars. The triage nurse, the patient registration, the nurse, and the doctor were all exceptional. I felt so seen and the nurse and doctor really took their time with me when they couldn’t find a diagnosis. Highly recommend this emergency department.

I had top surgery in Toronto yesterday and came back to my parents house in Trenton to recover. I developed an intense hematoma on one side and was dizzy and a little nauseous. After care said to contact my surgeon (whom I could not get hold of) and either call 911 or go to emergency. My sister drove. Triage saw me right away.
