Great place! I hope they open one on the SW side of CR. It sure beats most of the national chains in the area.
Had catering order for group event The food was wonderful had plenty to go around with leftovers

Best BBQ in Cedar Rapids, no one else comes close. Pork, brisket or ribs, you can't go wrong. Try the ABTs, jalapeño poppers stuffed with cheese and brisket and wrapped in bacon. To. Die. For. Expect a crowd and a wait during dinner hours, this place is very popular and for good reason. And take out pulled pork for $9.99 lb and brisket $10.99 lb, no kidding!
Their food quality is terrible...brisket served with over 50% fat is often the case and recently their Qdog sandwich had three charred pieces each in inch in diameter of something (which even the waitress couldn't identify). The taste is good but the quality is poor.
Tried to eat here with my family tonight. Was told it would be a 5 to 10 minute wait. A larger party came in after us and was told 20 to 25 minutes. We waited longer than we were told it would be, the other table hadn't even been there their minimum time and the hostess sat them first. I let the hostess know we were there before them and she was super rude to me. One of the people in our party was my infant who i was stuck carrying in her car seat while we were waiting ( kids get heavy!) we ended up leaving with out getting ... read more
