Checked in around 10pm; got to the room and it smelled like a dirty basement and had torn carpet. Was exhausted and had decided to "deal with it", but walked over to the bed to find a "friend". Went to the front desk and stated I needed to check-out because even with an alternate room, I would not have peace of mind sleeping due to the bug. Was told I would still be charged for the night unless a manager approved the refund/cancellation. Noisy from hallway
Down town , walking distance to alot of things
This is a really nice hotel. Not too far away from Bourbon Street and all the extracurriculars. Plenty of amenities on property. The hotel actually has two buildings on either side of the street. The bar is very nice. I had a couple nice drinks down there on my visit. They do offer some food, but I have not taken advantage of that.
