I recently flew with Qatar Airways Business Class and was thoroughly impressed. Having previously traveled frequently with Emirates Business Class, I can confidently say that Qatar Airways offers an exceptional experience that sets a new standard. Scheduled and paid for,two months earlier than day of flight, ticket seats (2)from Rome, Italy to CapeTown, South Africa and return. Picked and paid extra for two economy seats numbered 12 or less round trip( leg room). In Rome we queued up 2 or more hours early to receive our paper boarding passes (it took a second agent to be issued our two boarding passes). This airline is a disappointment. They do a good job at advertising the inflight experience and it is good (but has shortcomings). However, everything else is abysmal. 1) On a flight from LA to Doha - We got delayed by 4 hours - and then asked to board the flight and once we boarded we were told the flight will no longer be non-stop and they will stop in London. We weren’t allowed to disembark the flight. To top that we ended up no knowing how long we will stay in London and not allowed to leave the plane. In the end we wait... read more

Qatar Airways revolutionized business travel with the advent of QSuites. 1-2-1 layout makes for generous space. Suite door for privacy. The reverse layouts turns the adjacent footwell into a table. The width of the suite allows ample storage. The dine-on-demand, turn down service and the meticulousness with which the crew perform the onboard services is exemplary. The lounges are excellent. Especially Al-Mourjan in Doha is opulent. Make qatar ur no 1 go to airline.

Wow! I feel sorry for people who had rough experiences with Qatar Airlines. I am happy with them and will not fly with another airline. They provide world-class service and haven't been disappointed at all.
