My family has been using Cantrell since I was a child. Now that they have new younger owners, they are terrible, not compassionate and unapologetic about their mistakes. Please look elsewhere. Your loved one(s) deserve it.
They did an excellent job with handling my Mother-In-Law’s funeral. I highly recommend their service.
I would not suggest using this funeral home for cremation services. My grandpa was kept in a freezer for a whole month before being cremated after they told us the $300 remaining balance could be paid during pickup and that was only the cost for the URN. The lack of communication between their staff is very unprofessional and unfair to any family during the time when you’ve lost a loved one.
Overall, it was a horrible situation dealing with this funeral, home and they're very, very, poor communication. My daughter's mother pick this funeral home for my daughter's funeral service in December of 2024 and even though my name and number was given to the person at the desk, they still had issues with contacting me about the things that they were supposed to call me about they even gave me issues about picking up my daughter's ashes and ended up giving my daughter's ashes to the wrong person.
