I took my husband in today to see Quintana. We were greeted by two of the cutest French bulldogs- Heck of a welcoming committee. My husband has always been very resistant to medical care, but is learning to become more consistent about his annual appointments. He truly appreciates Quintana. She doesn’t sugarcoat. She speaks directly. She listens to our concerns. We left with a better understanding of how to improve our health with diet and exercise. I've had the pleasure of working side by side with Ashley for many years, so when my husband became ill I made an appt. With Ashley. My husband is quite challenging to treat. Ashley treated him a few yrs ago so she was aware his condition made his treatment challenging. Ashley knew she would need to think outside the box of a PCP. I have never left a review for a doctor, medical practice, or any other service before, but I don’t want someone else to walk away feeling the way I did after this appointment. I arrived approximately 7–8 minutes late for my appointment and was told I would need to reschedule. I understand that medical offices have late-arrival policies and respect the need to keep schedules running on time. However, when I explained that I was only 7–8 minutes late, Ashley, the primary care provider, called out from the back, “10 minutes,” instead of coming to speak with me directly or professionally explaining the office’s policy. This provider didn't even introduce herself to me, a potential new patient. I wasn't aware before my appointment that my condition isn't something that's treated here,—I only found out in the first few minutes of our conversation.
