Since you've gone to a fast food line, your food has really declined. I'm sorry to say that, but the meat is now weighed with slop water/grease in it. You ran out of ribs? Your beans and mashed potato recipe is no longer the same. We were really disappointed and we couldn't wait to get home as we both had sick stomachs. I'd rather go back to waiting with a bag of popcorn for the good stuff. We use to love visiting once a month but no longer will. Really a bummer.
Normally, I would suggest it's 5 Stars, however after my most recent visit, I would suggest it's a 3. I don't know if it's a new ownership regime, or what; but I do know service has declined as has its food quality. I'll go back, perhaps it's simply nostalgic, but I don't entirely know if it's somewhere I'd recommend to friends anymore...
The Corn Fritters were a tad too much fritter and not enough corn but still pretty good. The Q-Ban Sandwich on the other hand was one of the best dang sandwiches I've ever had! The Pulled Pork was fantastic, the Maple Ham was delicious, add in the Swiss Cheese, Pickle, and awesome Southern Mustard and you gotta winner!
The Beef Brisket was my favorite!! Great food & great service!!�����
