KC native here who finally found edible BBQ in Minnesota! Loved the potato salad and especially the cole slaw. Ribs were tender and smoked just right. Looking forward to a return trip!
Used to think pretty highly of this place but with recent price changes and menu changes that removed food,forcing you to buy extra I didn't really care for it. Doubt I'll go back here very often anymore,food is quite good but not at those prices.

After eating at the Champlin location, which I would gladly give more than 5 stars, the Minneapolis location was such a disappointment! Cold, over-cooked food that had been left under a warmer for far too long, and incredibly rude employees. According to the gal behind the counter, you shouldn't expect great food here if you're going to show up after the dinner rush. Once was enough at the Minneapolis location... I won't be back.

Sorry to hear! When did this happen?, please Our food is managed the same way at both locations. We hold our food at both. The meats take 4 to 14 hours to cook and we are staggering it throughout the day. I am at Mpls every night and no mentioned a complaint recently.
