I had the unfortunate experience of visiting Q-Dermetology in Fountain Valley for the second time to have a corn removed, and I can honestly say it was one of the worst medical experiences I’ve ever had. I went here with my brother today to get his prescription to fight this nasty and horrible hormonal acne that he's been struggling with for years. The doctor that was talking to him was also kind enough to talk to me about how to deal with my somewhat-of-a-burdensome hormonal acne on my chin and cheeks area. Ok, I exit the building and was just, I don’t know, unbelievable. I got wait for almost 30 mins, waited 2 weeks, while having to deal with my skin rash problem till appointment date. I also was interested about acne treatment on the form and products, so I agreed to know the information. As I sat at the doctor room, Dr Quan H. Was quoted and charged an incorrect amount for a procedure. The procedure was incomplete and when I called about getting it completed I was told I’d have to pay an additional full amount (double the quoted price) to have the procedure completed. They made two mistakes, somehow I have to pay 3x the quoted price.
Scam. Paid $135 for a skin health checkup. Even a low risk checkup should take 5-10 minutes. After waiting an hour in the exam room, Dr came, refused to do an actual exam and just glanced at my body, did not look closely at anything, and asked what prescriptions I wanted and at what dose. Total time was less than 60 seconds. I filed a complaint with the CA medical board. If you are looking for a dermatologist and not a cover for spa and facial services, go to another dermatologist.
