This place is nothing but a money grabber. $70 for half-assed service. I’m a new patient who had never been seen there before, yet the MD spent maybe 2 minutes with me. How is that enough to establish care, review medical history, or even understand my concerns? I requested azelaic acid, which I’m already using and told him is working for me. My experience with Q Dermatology was disappointing enough that I feel compelled to share it. My PCP submitted a referral for me, which I waited for approval on. Once it was approved, I immediately called Q Dermatology and booked the next available appointment with the dermatologist, which was already several weeks away. The day before my appointment, I was contacted and told that the dermatologist had taken the day off and that I would instead be seen by a PA. I finished my treatment of Accutane and I called the dermatologist’s office to confirm my next steps. The girl that answered didn’t have any idea of what to do, she kept putting me on hold. For 20 mins I was on hold, and I hung up. And recalled again, and you know what her excuse was “We are busy.” My question was a simple “do I need to make an appt or no,”. Simple yes or no.
