about 2 minutes before my interview time I got an email saying the interview was canceled because they filled the position? How ridiculous. No wonder why this company has so many bad reviews.
I would not recommend working here as an abstractor. Team lead will make arbitrary coding rules without even letting abstractors know. Some of these are completely incorrect, yet the company prides itself on quality data. Proprietary software was rolled out nowhere near the ready state, with updates taking place while people are abstracting, wiping out swaths of data. Then they have the audacity to bring up lowered production. It's too bad, because the PTO was reasonable with a good work/life balance available.
I would not recommend working for this company as an abstractor. Disrespectful manager and team lead who hardly gets back to you and just makes up arbitrary rules to follow that make no sense. A colleague was bullied out by a manager who talks down to people. So sad, because the salary and benefits were decent, along with the ability to get work done on your own schedule.
