When I was 12 I had hip dysplasia, Dr. Putz put pins in to old the ball of my joint in place til the cartilage filled in and he used the wrong pins. so when they went in to have them removed they could not remove them. I am now 37 years old and have suffered with pain every since. Also I went back in to have Dr. Putz do a recheck because of some catch and release in my hip joint a few years ago and he still lacked very bad, in bed side manner.
I visited Dr. Putz due to the fact that he was one of the few orthopedic surgeons affiliated with my health car coverage. I injured my right should and both the ER doctor and my regular doctor stated that a had a torn rotator cuff and would need surgery. After a brief exam by Dr. Putz, he stated that it was only torn and I needed physical therapy. Three months later, MRI showed complete tear.. After surgery, he told me that I would not have full use of my arm again. He was wrong both times.
