Here's one of the most popular sports bars in Tucson, run by an ex-school teacher who in 1978 decided his real calling was to sell pastrami. He made the right decision, since the place is still buzzing with people drinking beer from big pitchers and munching on pastrami sandwiches. Good sports bar in North Tucson. Really good venue for watching sports. It may not look too good from the outside but once inside it has all you need- beer, big screen TV's and friendly staff. They also own a new sports bar in town called Rusty's which is also very, very good!
A good solid bar – Putneys. Drank a bunch of Miller Lite's there, weekly for about 6 months. Good people. Alsways seemed to be interested in actually having a conversation if you were sitting at the bar and started yapping. Beer was always cold and those big ass mugs are nice. Had a few items off the menu. Above average bar food. Never watched a game there, as it was always 3:30pm-5:30pm on weekdays that I would stop by, but there are definitely a lot of TV's. Great place to watch ANY game! – Putney's is the place to be if you want to watch your favorite teams at the same time. They have over a dozen TV's thru-out the resturant and the booth's have their own private TV's as well. It can get kinda loud but it's worth it if your 2 fav. teams are playing at the same time on different channel's!
