FRIENDSHIP MANOR IS A WONDERFUL, CLEAN, SECURE PLACE FOR THE ELDERLY IN OUR COMMUNITY. THE OWNERSHIP BY NATIONAL CHURCH RESIDENCES, A NON FOR PROFIT COMPANY, DOES A FINE JOB OF HIRING MANGERS THAT CAN EFFECTIVELY DEAL WITH ALL SORTS OF PEOPLE AND AT THE SAME TIME BE ATTENTIVE TO THE FABULOUS RESIDENTS THAT LIVE THERE.
I would not ever live at Friendship Manor, it is not a very good place to live. The tennets are nice people, its the management thats terrible. The lady that runs the place is not a very nice person.I knew a couple of people that lived there and heard some pretty bad things. One person that lived there after she moved out she came back to visit someone The lady that runs the place told her that she would have to leave,she said she wasnt allowed to be there. I AM NOW LIVING BY MYSELF IN A TOWN WHERE I DONT KNOW ANYONE. IM IN A POWER CHAIR AND NO CAR. We went and looked at the Apartments and they were spacious and clean. The Staff was helpful and friendly and very supportive of our needs and a joy to be around. This community has a Beauty Salon/Barber Shop that is open Tue through Friday. They also have affordable Lunches in their community room for those who wish not to be bothered by cooking and many Senior Type Activities. Its on top of a hill and has a lovely few and only minutes away to the famous Schlitterbahn Water Park

i looked at one of the apartments and they are really nice. the place is very clean, actually spotless.
The apartments are very nice and the community is excellent, but the management is terrible. They are rude and unhelpful. Getting maitance done is difficult.
If you are older and looking to "size down" try White Oak Village" at great oaks next to the bowling alley. The apartments are perfect, the staff is so caring, and the residents are by far THE BEST anywhere. The rent is based on your income,basic cable is under \$5.oo, and ALL you pay for is your phone and the extended cable if you want it. WHAT a deal.
