I've got a parent there right now with pneumonia and it's so cold 🥶 they keep saying the engineer is fixing it...the stick answer for 5 days now. Nurses are very short w me, bordering on rude. Much better experiences at most other hospitals. Go elsewhere!
this Hospital is terrible , My mom was brought there twice by the local ambulance and twice she was sent home ... I begged the ER to admit her but they said they couldnt . she sufferd an entire weekend in pain She was finaly taken to Danbury Hosptial on Monday . She was admitted immeadiatly and she got the care she needed . Not all the staff is lazy , but when you are in such a stressful situation , the indiffernence really stings . negitive 5 stars
If I could give 0 stars I would, I went to Putnam Hospital for sever stomach pain on Tuesday afternoon. The nurses at Putnam were rude, nasty and I truly feel as if they thought I was lying about my pain. They sent me home 7 hours later with no meds, no follower up care and just said they don’t know what wrong. I was completely shocked. My husband took me to White Plains Hospital on Wednesday and thank god he did, I am still here and need surgery. Shame on you Putnam Hospital..
HORRIBLE. AVOID THIS PLACE!! My wife had excruciating stomach pain. I rushed her to ER. Upon arrival the front desk staff had a nonchalant approach to the situation. The woman at the front desk had an attitude while checking in, as if she couldn’t be bothered. Once we FINALLY got inside- we met with the RUDEST nurse with the nastiest attitude, Theresa.
