I have been to the Miller ferry twice this year with my fiancé attempting to take my bike over to ride the island! Once was on a Friday and the people told us no round trips! She called off of work today n asked me take to her today on the bike! I checked the website and also checked the fb page and it said NOTHING about no round trips! Ride the hour there n they have a small sign outside that says “no round trips today”! WHY COULDNT THIS HAVE BEEN POSTED ON FB OR THE WEBSITE? Yet again i wasted my time! My husband and I have used the Miller Ferry the last three years to get to Put in bay. And they have been wonderful experiences except for this last time. As we were going back to the main land we were waiting to dock to get off and one of the workers asked that we step back some and we did with no issue. He then walks away and comes back over and states very annoyed “folks scoot back” we were surprised as we were scoot back and looked around confused at the other guest that were around in the same area as us. dependable, cheep and friendly staff.
Great ride... oldie but goodie!
The Miller Ferry is very quick and the staff was very safety conscience. The ride to Put-In-Bay was a little bumpy due to the choppy waters but not bad. Be prepared to get wet if you are on the back. In my case the mist was welcome due to the heat. Great service overall.
