Every single employee (except the lovely lady in the gift shop on the main land) were extremely rude! The people at the ticket windows..the men on the ferry.. Everyone seemed to hate their job and forget that us paying customers are the reason they have a job.

Just rode it this past weekend very affordable for someone to get over to the different island on Lake Eire. I and my other and a couple of friends had a great time.

The ride there was not bad. But the ride back was frustrating. It was 97 degrees outside and we had our 4 week old baby with us. We had our car on the ferry so we were in it with the air conditioning on. A worker came over to tell us to turn off the car. Mind you there are no signs anywhere saying to turn off your car just to put the parking break on. We asked if we could please leave it on for the baby since it's so hot. It has been a few years , but Miller Ferry service has always been a top notch operation. Through the years , I have used the boat to travel to the Islands . Always friendly service .
I have used Millers on several occasions... always a great price and friendly staff. My family and I went up a few years ago for a day trip, it was a beautiful morning! However, the weather was especially hot that week and the ride back was almost unbearable! My only suggestion would be to provide some shade for walk-on passengers.
