Back in May 2015, my wife and I responded to an ad on craigslist for a house rent “the Pursuit of Happiness Realty”. The house was shown to us by an “oily character” by the name of Elliot Schneider – realtor/landlord the house was in dire need of repair. There was no heating system; pipes were ripped out of the walls on the first floor leaving gaping holes on the moulding. The kitchen ceiling was open exposing pipes.
