Does this place not want my business? I need to print parts for my work, I followed their online form and submitted the 3D. I didn't even see a confirmation email for my quote. A day passed and I called to follow up. First calling Purple Porcupine. No answer, so I called Purple Platypus. They picked up and tried to resolve my issue saying that they are a separate service (which I knew) but has the ability to see my request form. Liezl and Alex provide exceptional service for quotes and service. We would ask them for materials quote for our printers and we would get a response from one of them the same day. Materials availability, delivery and pick up are one of the many reasons we keep doing business with Platypus. Pricing is right around market but you get what you pay for. Overall, we’ve had a great experience doing business with Purple Platypus and their employees.
Had a few parts I needed stat. I called Purple Platypus and they instructed me to email them my CAD file.Received a quote within minutes, received my parts in just 2 days. Highly, highly recommend, both for the well versed and those just starting out with 3D printing. Mark Dewey is the man.
