Purple Penguin in Aberdeen is a must! We are in NC visits family and we accidentally showed up over an hour early and they opened for us anyway. Friendly staff. Clean establishment. Absolutely delicious!
Enjoying this shop has been a long time coming. Several things have changed. Outdoor seating has improved. But I'm not a fan of the toppings dispensers they use now. Also disappointed there are no smaller cups. As always, though, the help was friendly and gracious. We enjoyed our ice cream!
It's a "frozen yoghurt" place. But not a single frozen yoghurt these days. It's a trash soft serve ice cream place. I paid almost $20 last week for some trash sorbet and peanut butter soft serve. Not even original tart frozen yoghurt. Just soft serve. Don't waste your time on overpriced soft serve. Handles is better and right down the street.
