I liked it when the old man owned it.that was when they made the ice cream on premises.now everyone makes it except purity! The building it's self is a landmark not the product.

Hi Kathy! In January 2006 my husband and I had a super tough decision to make. We decided to move manufacturing off premise. Our ice cream is made for us at the Byrne Dairy ice cream plant in Syracuse NY. It is the only place that makes our ice cream but lots of folks serve our ice cream at their scoops shops. I am so thankful that Byrne agreed to make our Purity recipe. Purity could no longer financially make the ice cream with 1950's equipment.
