Back when I contacted Karen, none of the awful reviews existed, they were mostly 5 stars. My child was born and photographed in 2015. My story bears resemblance to most reviews below but mine also involves an extortion twist, where she reached out to me and threatened to delete the photos if I didn’t order them by a certain date. Please do not use this photographer. She took our newborn photos and our full payment up front for all digital photos edited. Didn’t deliver our photos for over 6 months and went silent. Photos didn’t arrive until I contacted Help me Howard on the local news, at which point after Howard’s team called, she sent them unedited with a promise to edit. Never edited them. Disappeared again. Exceptionally unprofessional experience.
Stay away! She steals from families!! Please refrain from using Purely Newborn. She steals from families! Three years after we paid for a very expensive package and completed our daugther's newborn session she still hasnt delivered the Artbook, which is valued at $1000.00 in her price list. Thousands of phone calls and texts and Promise after promise and no artbook (the album of the photo session). My daughter is 20 months old, and we have not received her photos from 1 week old. I wanted to send out announcements, then thought I could use them for Christmas cards, then her first birthday came and nothing!!! I deeply regret not reading reviews first. At one point the proofs were available unedited, but I couldn’t download them and they were watermarked.
