I recently had my first appointment with Dr. Shirai, and I couldn't be more pleased. After hearing great things about her, I was on a waiting list and finally got in. Her office is well-kept, and the staff is friendly. As a new patient, she suggested a comprehensive checkup and X-rays, explaining that a thorough teeth cleaning would help identify any hidden cavities. I've been looking for months for a good dentist. I found one. Dr. Lisa Whang Shirai is an excellent dentist. I was impressed by her knowledge and the way she explained everything in detail about the condition of my teeth and how to make it better. Dr. Lisa Whang Shirai is professional, highly skilled, competent, comfortable to talk to, and a really nice person.
My favorite dentist on the island 🏝️!! I’m a chicken patient and she always comforted me really well. I tried other dentist first but eventually decided to go to Lisa! Because she’s the best☺️
Rubbish dental clinic, I just want an X-ray and a dental examination, this clinic actually refused my request, the doctor said that I must have a dental cleaning, because I need to get a license, so all three are necessary. It's $500 without insurance, and maybe the dental clinic sees me doing the first two dollars too little to take the time.
Dr Whang was very patience, not in rush, took time to examine my teeth, jaw, filling and cleaning, explaining everything in detail with pictures, highly recommended; but didn't get freebies (toothpaste, toothbrush etc) after cleaning as most dentists would offer after cleaning
