First two visits were good, but when it came to scheduling my next full body exam, I was not provided any kind of reminder. I became very busy and forgot the next appointment date, so tried calling....and calling....and calling....and calling.... for two months I called their listed number (same number I called to schedule the first two appointments) and each time the call would ring then end abruptly or wouldn't ring at all. My previous visits were always good with Dr. Joann, she was very thorough and took her time. My last visit was with a new doctor and felt rushed. I was supposed to be prescribed something for my rosacea but have yet received my prescription. I have called 3 different times and talked to 3 different people being told something different each time. It has been over 3 weeks and still no prescription. It should not take this long to get something prescribed, it’s absurd and I will be looking for a new place to go!
My initial experience here was positive, but the doctor I saw left and was replaced by new doctors. My original visit was a couple months ago. I got a 1 month prescription. Since then I've been trying to get a refill. I called probably 10 times and each time I was told that the doctor would get back to me but my call was never returned. When I called most recently, I was told that the new doctors won't refill any prescriptions without an additional office visit.
Dr. Joann and staff are amazing! I needed to be seen and even though I was a first time client I was sceduled and seen the next afternoon. That alone is unheard of in this area. I was seen right away, my questions were answered to my satisfaction. I would recommend them to everyone!
I scheduled appointments for myself and my children after struggling to find a dermatologist with availability. I could not have asked for a better experience. The staff was extremely professional and knowledgeable. They also made my young children feel very comfortable. I am so happy that we found Pure Skin Dermatology!
