UPDATE!!!!!! Gina Kim the owner reached out to me on Sept 25th and offered to provide an in-person consultation that included assessment by their senior aesthetician Negar. I have been going to Pure + Simple for many, many years, and I have nothing but incredible things to say about the staff and products. I've always loved the many facials and facialists over the years but I have to give a special shout out to Negar!! I had an amazing experience at Pure + Simple from start to finish. The owner personally took care of me and made sure I was well looked after, which really set the tone for the visit. I was matched with Aga, and she was absolutely incredible. She was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive. This was my second facial here and both were fabulous. This time I had services with Mutsumi and my skin looks radiant and fresh. Exactly what I want during these cold, dry months. I did the January promo facial + added on the leg/arm massage. Both very relaxing!
The place itself is very nice and has a clean, upscale feel, but unfortunately the service did not meet expectations. I went in for the Super Hydration Facial, and my pores were not cleaned properly. By the next day, I was able to extract a lot on my own, which shouldn’t happen after a professional facial. While the environment is great, the treatment itself was disappointing and not as thorough as it should have been, especially for the price.
