Ted is an absolute gem holding court by the taps. Have been a consumer of Pure Project beers for several years out on AZ, but 1st time at the Balboa Park Taproom while visiting San Diego. Ted discussed my likes and came up with a sampler and nailed it! Love the Treasure Reef and my mind was blown by The Burj and Campout Classic! Keep delivering great products and vibes! Pure Project Miramar is easily one of the best spots around. Their beer selection is amazing, and honestly, they serve some of the best beers I’ve ever had. If you’re into barrel-aged stuff, you absolutely have to check them out—their barrel-aged beers are easily the highlight of the menu. To make things even better, the empanadas here are incredible. Came by with a couple friends after work and it turned out to be a pretty good choice. The beer selection had enough variety that everyone found something they liked, and the bartender was easy to talk to without being pushy. The place had a relaxed vibe, not too loud, which made it nice to hang out for a while. I didn't try every beer, but the one I had was fresh and well made. Food was decent too. I'd probly come back again when I'm in the area.
Best beer in San Diego. Shout out to Devon and the rest of the crew for making everyone feel like family!
