I'm pretty sure there were a couple of years in which the only new clothing I bought was from Pure Detroit (and I still rock all of those many T-shirts and tanks and hoodies out in Las Vegas, where I live now but still rep my Detroit pride). Everyone I have ever dealt with from Pure Detroit has been a pure delight - and I say that as someone with a substantial retail management background and very high customer service standards. Best Detroit culture shop around. Super soft, stylish, and quality made Detroit apparel. 100% awesome and totally unique Detroit made gift items as well. The locations in the amazing Fisher Building, beautiful Guardian Building, and even a mini-shop at the Belle Isle Aquarium (!) are all stocked full of pure Detroit goodness.
Chip rules. Great place to learn, love and laugh with Detroit.
The original Detroit culture shop is still just as cool as it was when I was 15!
