I have been seeing Dr. Purath for over 10 years for chronic migraine. She has stayed with me through multiple different treatment options and now it is FINALLY manageable... She has never tried forcing pills on me and has worked closely with me to find the root of the problem so we could actually fix it... She is always so upbeat and happy to see me, and I actually ENJOY going to see her... I recommend her to everyone I know even for the tiniest of headaches!!!
Unfortunately, I have to write this review because I feel so disappointed with my experience here. After months of waiting for an appointment, I had a short interview with the physician where I was diagnosed with vestibular migraine. I was sent for an MRI, insurance denied it, and the person who answers phones stated the physician refuses to write appeal letters to insurance. My husband and I have both been seeing Dr PURATH for years and have had life transforming experiences under her care. We suffer from debilitating migraines and she has worked with both of us to figure out exact causes and our different therapies have been greatly successful under her care. Her empathy, care and compassion are palpable. Thank you Dr PURATH! Every other doctor that we see speaks VERY highly of her and that in itself has been comforting and encouraging.
