I've purchased two puppies, the 1st from the Winchester location which they said that he had arrived the day before we purchased him. We took him to our vet and he was given a good bill of health.The second we purchased from the Harrisonburg location and the puppy was almost 8 months old. He didn't even know how to eat the first night he licked his dry dog food. We worked with him gave him wet dog food and he ate as he was starving. I adopted a dog from someone who purchased a Havamalt from Puppy City per the paperwork I received. Breeder listed as Marcus Lantz and if you google him, along with other related information, the hand-written document from 2009 regarding their dog kennels and condition is horrific—he states he would rather kill his dogs that have them live indoors and learn tricks. We purchased a dog, a Cavalier King Charles, was giving AKC papers only to find out they are AKC partners, I contacted AKC and found this out that it's AKC partners for a mixed or breed akc doesn't recognize. So my dog is not a purebred.
