It's for all purposes decent, if you want the apartment amenities then this will have all you need. It's cheaply renovated, the cement under the carpet wasn't smoothed so you will feel sharp bumps as you walk around, the sheets are rough too. Other than that, it's clean and the staff were lovely.
Lovely service and accomodations. There's a building under construction just beside our room and it was quite noisy in the morning but free earplugs are provided at the reception. I received my damage deposit just a few hours after I checked out which surprised me considering most hotels I stayed before took days or even weeks.
Being upfront about the construction would have been great. It's so loud which made the stay so uncomfortable. The room is very dated but a great size.
Great location and walkability to free tram, best restaurants, east coast car rental, overnight parking on Collins Place and East Melbourne precinct. The construction noise is between 7am to 5pm, wifi very slow, couldn't work, the 2-bedroom me and the work colleague shared was on level 2. B06. Service from staff was great and friendly, clear instructions about late check in and easy process. Rooms need a bit of TLC and proper cleaning - bit dusty. Was there for 5 nights and didn’t get new towels or room clean, but it was the long weekend and we had a washer anyway. There’s construction going on next door but it only started on the day we left so not a big deal for us. Location is amazing - 2 mins and you’re at fed square and easy to get a tram.
