This is a well-located hotel on the main street of Maitland. What I liked about it was the Maitland-themed photographic art, on display in the street level reception area and in the rooms upstairs. The reception art inspired me to go look at the beautiful mid century (1968) Maitland Library designed by Walter Bunning. The town has a lot of well-preserved historic architecture so it was nice to see it celebrated. The rooms ($234/night) are clean and attractively furnished. We stayed at Punthill Apartment Hotels in Maitland whilst attending the Hunter Valley Gardens Christmas Lights - great location ! Staff were very accommodating and the rooms were great!
The reception staff didn’t pick up my room service call and didn’t call me back at well. No slipper and teeth brush can provided. No face tissue paper provides in the living room. No cups for my teeth brush in the bathroom. Only one toilet even I am living two bedrooms apartment. Early checkout time (10am) than expected Have cockroach at midnight in my room No pet cleaning stuffs inside the room if have any emergency.
