Repeatedly experienced unprofessional phone interactions with the same staff member (not doctor) Previously I called at 5:00pm and was told the clinic was already closed. Today I called again at 4:55pm (within opening hours) and was told I should not call because the computer had already been shut down, and was asked if I was the same caller as before. Although my request was eventually handled, the interaction felt uncomfortable and unprofessional.
Dr. Yvonne was very thorough in explaining all of my test results to me, she was happy to answer any questions I had & she looked at everything, wanted to know all of the symptoms & history. It’s good to feel heard! She explained all the different possibilities of what could be going on, I really appreciate her attention to detail & feel safe in her care. One of the worst experiences I've ever had with a 'specialist'. For my follow-up appointment, I arrived and she said 'What are you doing here?' I said, 'Well your office called ME to come back because there were abnormal results you wanted to go through.' After gaslighting me into wondering why I was even there, she explained the results but when I asked questions about the next steps in getting closer to a diagnosis and care plan I was told 'That's all I can do for you.
