I don't give out many one star reviews. I think the caregivers they have are very good and caring people. They listen to you and are knowledgeable. BUT,,, Pulse Heart Institute will not communicate with anyone outside their organization. I needed them to communicate with the VA and they ignored correspondences from the VA and even when I brought the VA request to them and hand delivered it twice in person, they still ignored it. I was trying for several days to get an answer to a question about a drug interaction concern with a recent prescribed Rx. In calling I inadvertantly entered the wrong phone menu number and got Teresa. She asked why I was calling and said she couldn't give me an answer but would find someone who could and get back to me. She followed through and helped me resolve my concerns. When I thanked her she said her passion was helping patients get what they need. Thanks again Teresa for your vigilance and genuine concern.

This is one of the first times in my life that I've been taken seriously for chest pains, dizziness, shortness of breath, etc. Even though concern was low, I still had a workup, with explanations all along the way. Medical staff was direct, but polite. At the end of it all, my heart is healthy at this time. Peter Petrukitas, ARNP, made me feel my concerns were valid, even if unlikely to be related to the heart.
