I was referred to Cardiologist Dr. Val Lev who saw me within a week of my referral to him. Dr. Lev noted my chest pain and irregular heart issues, and ordered pulmonary heart surgery which resulted in 2 stents to increase blood flow to my heart. Subsequently, I was sent to Pulse Cardiac Health and Rehabilitation Program to regain a more normal physical activity level. Pansexual POC with disabilities and have had poor experiences each time I was referred to Pulse to have tests. My January 2025 appointment they told me to be 15 minutes early so I did. Only to stand waiting to check-in because the ladies up front were ignoring me. I thought it was suspicious that I had arrived 3:45 only to ask multiple times and have to wait until 4:40 to be called in. Not only does it take forever to get an echocardiogram, but it's impossible to get help over the phone. I just called and had to wait for forty minutes - only to have the operator transfer me to the wrong place, and then those people transferred me to the wrong place, then those people transferred me back to the line that had a forty minute wait again. There is no reason for this but incompetence. Also, their MyChart is not working for me and nobody can fix it. I will say that one person tried very hard to fix it and I appre... read more
