I absolutely love Dr. Vuppala. He knows what he's doing and he actually cares about his patients. I was referred to him by someone at a HH walk-in clinic, and without that referral I would have kept having asthma and respiratory issues. He was able to get me up and going again and offered me guidance to deal with my allergies and asthma triggers. He told me the best medicines and home treatments to try and what to do away with. TL;DR: I wasted 3 years seeing this doctor. Do yourself a favor and keep looking if you're searching for a sleep medicine doctor. Getting into the details... The whole time I saw him, he was very rude and hateful (his first words to me walking in the door at my intake appointment were cursing me out, expressing disapproval and detestment at my list of medicines that I take, and that he would not prescribe me any medicine — completely unprovoked and uncalled-for... I have been going to Dr. Vuppala for a couple of years for my sleep issues (CPAP). It has always been a good experience. However, he just sold his practice to Huntsville Hospital's Lung Center, and they canceled my appointment. When they called to reschedule, they told me my cash pay amount would be $180. He literally sees me for less than 5 minutes, checks my CPAP data, says I'm doing fine, and asks if I need any supplies for my machine.
