Upon our first visit with Dr. Maxwell. He specifically told my child and myself the sleep study was only going to have some leads placed on my child’s hands and chest. Once we arrived to the visit at 8:00pm we were informed that there would be a full application of leads on my child’s head and there were leads on their legs, too. This upset my child to tears. Very short handed and do not read the results on time. Misleading information and I made a patient complaint. Told my son he didn't have anything wrong but then was told he needed another test. My sleep study results we not read on time
We had 2 sleep studies and both experiences were great!
You cannot get a real human on the phone at all unless you leave a message and even then, it's 50/50 if they will even return your call later. The actual sleep study I had was amazing and the staff were great, but this office where you make appointments before and after the study is awful. I've had family members with this issue as well, and they haven't received the care they need simply because this office will not communicate with them. I am 100% disappointed in my first visit for my child. We arrived promptly and on time. Informed that Dr. Maxwell was super behind and had two more patients ahead of us. The nurse stated if I had to leave half way through the appointment due to the set back that I might as leave now because if I left once Dr. Maxwell started he’d be “erk’d” and this is the way things are there.
