Trying to sell me too much carpet I had heard good things about this company,so i drove by today 10/29/08. I took them my dimensions of my two rooms,2 closets and a hallway that need carpet.i handed the young man my room dimensionsin feet and inches. i had already calculated about 469sq feet(52 sq yards).To be safe 490 sq feet (54.4 sq yards). Lowes, Home Depot, Goodwill...Buy Flooring anywhere but here. I agree 100% with the other reviews. I bought laminate flooring there yesterday. It was seconds of the cheapest quality. I took it back today and the peon running the place laughed at me while demonstrating how easily it puts together. He made me feel like I was the one at fault, and then told me I would have to come back in an hour and talk to the boss lady. She was even worse than him. Bad customer service Terrible customer service! The wood flooring we bought must have been seconds. Very inconsistent and hard to put down. We went to another company (Dodd's carpet in Cartersville) and bought wood that went down perfectly. When we tried to talk to Pugs Rugs they were very defensive and rude. They will not stand behind their product. Do yourself a favor and just avoid this place.
BAD EXPERIENCE purchased hardwood flooring. several boxes busted and once installed, the flooring was warped and concave. I will NEVER buy from this company becuase when i voiced my concern they made me feel as if it was something I did and never came to look at the floor. They instead filed a claim with the manufacturer who (suprise suprise) sent their rep who, on a rainy day, claimed the reading of 24% moisture in my crawl space was the reason. Glad I didnt pay attention to the negative! I read these reviews before I decided to shop at Pug's Rugs,at first when I saw the negatives of a few I almost changed my mind. Boy am I glad I didnt they were awesome, even when there was a lil' mix up they were johnny on the spot and took care of me. I would recommend them to anyone! Family business of 30 years says it all. You will never satisfy everyone but you did me! Tired of all those big chain stores .I appreicate the straight forward and honesty. Thanks PUG's!
Pug's Rugs & Carpets Inc is the BEST! I purchased my carpet, pad (highest quality) and laminate flooring for my 1800 sq.ft. home in April, 2005. Total cost, $5,000 and it looked beautiful. We sold the house a year later and wished we could have purchased flooring for our new home at Pugs because after four years, this carpet is worn out and the padding is thin. As soon as I can afford it, I will be re-doing this house at Pugs!
Excellent prices!!! Wonderful service Their low grade is Home Depot and Lowe's top grade! Shocked! They have the best flooring at the best price! Home Depot was going to sell me carpet and vinyl for 4.99 sq ft. Pug's Rugs sold me the same at 4.99 a yard! More for the money by the yard, than the old scam of sq. foot! Lesson well learned! Half the price of Home Depot for Bruce Wood Floors We purchased Bruce Brand wood flooring from Pugs Rugs for almost half the price of the exact same wood at Home Depot! Great people to do business with and they had as many, if not more, choices than Home Depot!
