Giving birth at PSBC was the most positive, life changing experience I have ever had. I only labored there for about an hour before I gave birth but in that hour, my midwife, Heather, and the midwife student, Ayla, were absolutely incredible. It was very intense physically and emotionally for me in the end of my labor, yet they both made me feel so empowered and safe, their words were gentle and affirming and their expertise and encouragement gave me the strength to get through the hardest part. They handled my baby and I so... read more

Why did my review get deleted? I have a right to post anonymously. I had severe trauma during birth because of Courtney. Courtney is hardly what I could call a midwife. She brings shame to the title of midwife. She did not respect our wishes. Blatantly disregarded them. And talks down on you if you do not want a certain test or intervention. During my entire pregnancy they gave me food recommendations, stretches to help with aches and pains, and a sympathetic ear when things got tough. They constant... read more

Stay away from here, especially if you’re a first time mom. Courtney especially. She is a snake in sheep’s clothing. She wears the name of “midwife,” but to her, this is just a job, she is just in it for the money. She dishonors the title of “midwife,” and has made me distrust midwifery. She does not respect your decisions, but talks down and belittles you for your opinions and decisions. She threatens you with anything that “you won’t be able to give birth here.” She also lied in the medical record. She LIED multiple times!... read more
