While the doctor was fine, billing it totally deceptive. I'm basically being charged over double what I was told up front (this has nothing to do with insurance, this is what they are charging prior). Other reviews are saying similar, but they're from the last couple months. I wish I knew this prior to my procedure. They're basically trying to charge the same amount as a surgery under general anesthesia where I was hospitalized. And this isn't even applying the deposit they required to book the procedure. Dr Gregory Bernstein caused long-term, likely permanent, pain and bowel dysfunction after recommending and performing a procedure September 2025 which future colorectal providers described as contraindicated to symptoms, without cause (the procedure was on an asymptomatic hemorrhoid, incidentally noted during colonoscopy), and likely with improper technique, due to the facility’s preemptive use of nitroglycerin. All around terrible. Phone customer service is rude, condenseding and incompetent. Never call back with important information they promise, have to keep calling back same thing. I noticed all the other negative reviews about them, they caused me to cancel the appointment. Their finance department is so impossible to reach even they cannot reach them for you. And they push medical studies, yuk.

Would rate zero stars if possible. Provided me with a $300 estimate at date of service, and followed up with a $900 bill 3 months later and denied my dispute. These people are what's wrong with healthcare in this country. Avoid at all costs.
