While visiting the Mystic area, our goal has been to eat at local food establishments. While checking reviews for places on Yelp, we found Puffins. All I can say is wow! The food was fresh and plentiful, the service was attentive, and the view of the river is wonderful! Definitely recommend this place for breakfast.
I love going to local restaurants instead of chains. We were not disappointed. We were greeted at door. Stephen our waiter was great. Our breakfast was great and next time we are in Groton we plan to go back.

Quite an amazing place to dine with delicious food and wonderful service. I went there for breakfast and I am picky about my home fries when I eat out or even when my boyfriend makes them, but these homefries were one of the best homefries I've ever had!
What a wonderful experience! As soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted, and sat immediately. Our waiter, Steven introduced himself, and interacted with my 9 month old daughter as we got our chairs situated. our drink order was taken and brought to us promptly. Our order was taken, and we were asked if we needed anything else. When Steven brought us our food, he again asked if we needed anything, and was right on top of whatever we asked for.
