Very poor ethics, will violate HIPAA Midway through my wife's treatment, this office decided they would no longer accept our insurance, thus forcing us to pay out of pocket for removal of a plate from her ankle. We could not afford this, so the doctor (Mr. Simonich, the treating physician) had his staff call all the Pueblo-area offices in a similar specialty, advised them of our status, and told them not to treat us, forcing us to do business only with his office once we had enough money to pay cash up-front for it.
