First off, I love Publix. However... I got a Publix Southern Style Brisket Sub today. About an hour ago. The brisket was horrible and very tough. Absolutely crap. It was so tough even my German Shepard had difficulty chewing a piece. No exaggeration. She even spit it out at one point. I mean, she chews sticks. Buc-ees can make tender brisket consistently in all of its stores. If brisket is tough it isnt cooked properly. Firehouse can cook tender brisket. Whats up Publix? Three stars because I love Publix. IDK what happen Publix but, they use to be all about the customer, now they’re all about corporate profit; done with them, what’s the point of paying extra?…IGA has way better meats/produce now, in my area. Can’t get popcorn chicken after 6PM, never have nothing cooked after 6 it’s all out, they tell you no when you ask them to make you something, and worst of all they write up employees if someone walks away from self check out. Why do I have to tell someone I’m leaving self checkout cause the damn thing doesn’t take cash? ... read more
