I had the rudest cashier today at Publix on 119. Her name was Sheri. First, she did not speak to me, but spoke to the person before and behind me!! Then, she double charged me for an item but argued that she didn't rather than just looking at what she rang up!! Then she had to call someone to do a void, but did she apologize, NO!! RecommendedI've always loved Publix! I'm just not sure what's going on, though. The last 2 times I've shopped there, they seem short handed . The cashier has had to bag my groceries, and once I had to load my groceries back into the cart. Is Publix making changes?? This is just not the service they usually offer.
I see other people "bashing" Publix. But I shop at my local Publix in Alabaster, AL, several times a week and have for several years. I cannot give enough rave reviews about their Pharmacy departmet. They ALL get 5 stars!! They have helped me more times than I can count. And Greg, who works in the Seafood Department, is just amazing. He not only recognizes me but knows what I'm going to ask for before I even ask. He's given me great tips on cooking seafood. The Customer Service is beyond 5 stars!! Everyone is always very helpful and they do their best not to have you waiting in line forever to check out! I do wish they would start stocking kettle cooked dill pickle chips
Wonderful employees, pharmacy, and management! Great place to be and a great place to shop!
