After numerous failed attempts to get my daughter a birthday cake made I called Publix to see if they could make it for me. They lady that answered the phone (Aundrea) was so so nice, polite, not in a hurry, extra thorough to get all details. I was able to pick it up in 24 hours. Upon arrival I was greeted and welcomed a bakery associate asked me a few questions about the cake to make sure it was the right one. Again super nice, polite, excellent customer service!!! Not impressed, my first visit was during grand opening, very crowded but good customer service. My second visit, a short while later, was not pleasant, no one to help when I needed to find some items, no one offered to assist with grocery to car. So, I thought I would try one more time today. Publix already had a lot of my business, and just got a lot more. I picked up a bunch of platters for a shower at work. A platter of chicken tenders fell off the bottom rack of the buggy. I was stressed and a little distraught. I picked up what fell off and was about to just chunk it and go on rather than deal with trying to replace it. This was 2 days before Xmas, and although the store was somewhat busy, I found everything I needed with relative ease, and never once during my visit did I feel rushed, cramped, frazzled, or anything like that:))
Today, in the middle of all the shopping craziness, the nicest gentleman located an item my mom & I were searching for! He at first said they were out, then all of a sudden he appeared all the way over in the cheese aisle with the item! That's what I call customer service & will continue to shop at the Oxford, Alabama Publix!
