The last few cakes I have ordered or picked up from Publix have not tasted good (cake and icing). Also, the assistant manager of the bakery is extremely unwilling to help her customers. I needed some last minute cupcakes for my daughters class tomorrow, and all she could give me was her scripted answer of why she couldn't help. Today after picking my 19 month old up from daycare I just had to run in publix to grab a few things. As we were passing by the bakery my little girl immediately started asking for "cookie". She tried to grab a box as we walked by and I tried to explain we didn't need them but she kept saying "cookie please". A seeet young lady from the bakery came over and asked if she wanted a cookie and what kind. I told her "oh she's fine!" Once again the bakery did a horrible job decorating my cake. They would have "fixed" it but I was running late and it shouldn't have needed fixed!! I WILL NOT be special ordering anything from this Publix bakery location again.
Pretty upset. Purchased wholy guacamole yesterday, and was excited to see it BOGO. Opened it up tonight and see the use by date is 12/14. If the product was chips or crackers, no big deal. I cannot eat two week old guacamole.
The employees at this store are friendly and helpful. Store is clean and the seafood is fresh.
