This Publix (and it may be all of them) only accept Debit or Cash for transactions over $50. I found this out after spending over an hour on my day off picking out groceries. I was using a credit card and it was all I had with me at the time. I then had to leave and go to another grocery store (Super Target) and spend over an hour getting groceries again. Luckily, Target took my money. Publix lost a regular customer that day.
Giant THANK YOU!!! Publix of Athens!!! Got a roll of paper towels for a penny, got my normal 5% senior discount and then got Jerry Brown's veterans discount of 10 %, so total 15% discount, how awesome is Publix? And our young cashier girl was thanking Jerry for serving which I think is really nice. Little things really mean a lot!!!
